Ryan Dawson (Dr. D) is an LA based DJ and electronic music producer, resident Warhol Wednesday’s from Kansas City, MO. With sounds stemming from deep groovy minimal techno with heavy baselines and hard hitting kicks, he has a knack for getting the party churning with prowling underground sounds and indelible riffs into tribal yet playful dance floor records.
Ryan’s expansive sound is not limited to one genre but incorporates influences from house, soul, breakbeat, disco, congo, jazz and techno. As an evolving DJ in LA, he holds a residency at LA’s top midweek House & Techno venue, Warhol Wednesday’s, located in downtown Los Angeles at the Lexington.
