Blackflag Recordings keep on a good roll of releases with Craig & Grant Gordon next up. These UK brothers play low slung and groovy minimal house and techno and have had support from big names like Marco Carola and Steve Lawler amongst many others. This latest EP is another superb three track offering.
Ice is first and is a restless, lively cut with whirring bass and driving drums. Vocal samples and popping hits really get you on your toes and keep you there.
Cheese is then a super funked up number with loopy drums and hits, spinning hi hats and rapped vocals stitched into the edgy percussive groove.
Last of all, Made Love is a warm, bubbling cut with sci-fi motifs, and driving sub bass that sweeps you off your feet and is set for big things this summer.
This is another fresh and forward thinking EP from this vital pair.
