Belgian rising star Maxim Lany will release his high-impact EP My Story via German label Moonbootique Records this May.

The four-tracker comes less than two months after Maxim’s recent Renaissance release, which came out via Armada Electronic Elements and received immediate praise from stalwarts like Solomun, Kölsch and even David Guetta, who played it to a packed and loving crowd at this year’s Ultra Festival in Miami. The reception was phenomenal.

My Story features two originals from Lany, along with two remixes by Belgian house royalty Kolombo and South African breakthrough artist Cornelius SA.

Opening an interesting mix of serene violin chords, a bouncy bassline and electrifying vocals, the title track sets the mood just right for the rest of the EP. Kolombo then speeds things up, offering a darker and more twisted read on the original. On the flip side, ‘Pepita’ sees the Belgian producer excel at mixing tribal vibes with melodic house textures. Finally, Cornelius SA transforms ‘Pepita’ into a celebration of dreamy, otherworldly sounds.
