Spectoral‘s alt-RnB, future-soul single, SWEET DEPRIVATION, gets a sweaty, late night, deep house makeover by Sydney’s Pilot Darcy. The female producer taps into her lengthy history as an electronic musician throughout the 00s (under the name of SiN and SiNthetic). Here, Pilot Darcy applies some old school deep house tricks to the slow burner.

She says “I was so inspired by the original track I immediately wanted to grab the hooks and milk them for all they were worth”.

Local Sydney DJ’s have likened the track to Blond:ish vs Deep Dish and Bondi Radio DJ’s are giving it a spin. Less is more with this mix, rewarding the patient, allowing the hypnotica to set in, the soulful undercurrent of Spectoral’s vocal washing over you while getting down at 1am.

Spectoral is thrilled with the track, as it comes off the back of a very busy 2017 releasing a number of singles and performing around his Melbourne hometown, and just in time to kick off a milestone 2018.

Signed to Las Vegas label FVYDID, this is one track many late night house DJs will be adding to their sets.
